Founded in Edinburgh's Royal Mile by David and Susana Heard in 1992, Palenque has grown to become an established talent in contemporary jewellery design. Our York branch opened in 1994, Cambridge in 1996, followed by our second Edinburgh shop in 1999, Chester's Bridge Street opened in November 2001. The Christmas of 2006 saw the opening of our latest store in Norwich, and a relocation of our Chester store to Newgate Row.
Since opening in Edinburgh's Royal Mile nearly 15 years ago, we have aimed to provide you with exciting new designs in jewellery, watches and accessories, often exclusively available at Palenque. Many of the designs are hand crafted and available only in limited numbers. Where possible we offer matching necklaces, bracelets, earrings and pendants. Whether, you are looking for that special gift, accessorising the latest in fashion outfits, wedding, or simply want to indulge yourself, Palenque can offer you something different. Our comprehensive range of silver jewellery consists of brushed, frosted and polished finishes, combined with vibrant glass, semi precious stones, sparkling crystals, glowing pearls and gold. A mens jewellery range is now available. We also offer Boccia titanium and Skagen stainless steel watches and a small selection of handmade gifts.
